About Me

The Artist
Fay Katherine, of Fay Katherine, PITA Designs, and P.S. Fay Katherine,  originally hails from New Milford, Connecticut, and brings much of her experience as a child growing up in the northeast to her glasswork. Working in various mediums of art since childhood, Fay's art reflects a variety of cultural influences and sophistication as well. As a lover of learning, Fay continues to expand her repertoire through extensive traveling which has inspired her to pen both poetry and personal memoirs. Fay lives with her husband, Blain, in Bradenton, Florida.  Fay merges her two passions in life: teaching and playing with fire, by sharing the magic of glass with others.  Fay enjoys the beauty and challenge of lampwork, and finds unique satisfaction in bending the glass to her will!
