 wk of 9/24 Mirror, Mirror
September 30, 2006
Hi! I had such positive feedback on the Thursday Sneak Peek on Next Week Auctions that I am going to make it a regular feature.  It will appear at some point Thursday.  Thank you for all of the emails...I really appreciate your notes.
I have been trying to keep up with all of the new television shows this year.  Seems like they are all clustered on Monday and Thursday nights.  On Friday, there is a show called, "Men in Trees"-anybody else watching it?  It is about a town in Alaska and is very amusing.  I love seeing the Alaska landscape.   I missed tonight's show but have it Tivo'd for later.   There are two other shows that seem to have strong starts with me too..."Studio 60" and "Heroes".  The disappointing show for the fall season so far is "My Name is Earl"...what happened there?!  Hope they fix that one soon...all of the funny is gone and now it is just boring.
 More later.

wk of 9/17-- Bead Sets
September 22, 2006
Hi!  I had a lot of requests for more Mirror, Mirror On The Wall bead sets so I have created a lampwork catalog for you to order these beads.  The price is per bead and it is open now for orders...I I will be able to create only 15 beads...once they are gone...they are gone.  If you click on the bead it will take you to the catalog page.

Off to bed.

Hi!  I am just loading new auctions on eBay and thought I would show you here.  I just love these sets and even contemplated taking orders for them.  lol.  They both are sparkly...and this time of year, I just love sparkling jewelry. The first picture is Purple Explosion and the second is Babe's Treasure.  Hubby tried to hide both of these sets on me...he loved them!! So they must be pretty cool if they pass the man test. So if you love the set, you can just click on the picture and it will take you to the auction.

More later.

Hi! Today is a new week--yeah!  I have not worked the past few days due to another migraine.  I really dislike it when migraines interfere with my life.  I am on heavy duty medicine and need to just sleep them off.
Not much else going on here.  I finished My Sculptural Journey. It ended up being a four part blog article...lol.  I guess I had a lot more to say then I originally thought.

More later.

Hi!  Wow!  Offers have been coming in for the focal beads.  I will need to take a picture so you all could see the goodies.  These focals usually sell $18 and up each.  And I just found another handful of beads to join the others.
On other news...there are 3 masks in my kiln...yeah!  I melted glass today. I ran out of propane on the last one and need to change tanks so thought I would take a break.
Pryo is going back to the vet today.  She is still having problems breathing and is just pathetically sad.  I'll let you know what is going on when I return.
More later.

Hi!  Well...I had that great idea of listing all of those beads starting at 99cents on eBay...and after the first two days of auctions ending I figured out that I can't continue to do that with the rest of them.  The time factor has been amazing.  I have hardly any beads created this week due to listing auctions and auctions and more auctions.  So I am going to rethink the strategy and come up with an improved way to clear out these beads.  There are about 75 focals (lots of raku focals, little fishies, black and white focals, a few florals, dichroic focals, lots of seashells, etc.) left on my table...if you are interested email me with an offer and take them off my hands!!  The best offer wins them! lol. or if you are the only offer then they will be yours!
Off to finish shipping.  I need to melt glass tomorrow...it is necessary for my happiness! hehe!
More later.

Hi!  I am caught up with mask orders!  Whoop!! Whoop!!! Now I can have some fun later this week.  I have one more jewelry order to finish and my order board is clear.
I did not torch today.  I spent most of the day wirewrapping and trying to figure out what is going on with my email.  I am not receiving emails right now.  I hope to have it fixed first thing Thursday morning.
Pyro is feeling better.  She is getting spunky and devilish so that is promising.  Pyro still is having problems breathing so we are back to the vet again on Friday.  Poor puppy!!
More later!

Hi!  Wow!  Today I was able to create a few more masks.  Each one is different than any others.  I can't wait to see them in the morning.

I listed 3 new masks in the store too.
I also received an awesome picture of the beadpen that I created for the ISGB Gathering contest....thank you Mark!! so I thought I would show it off:

There is a larger one on my mask page in the store.
Don't forget to check out my eBay auctions for a lot of awesome prices.  All focals are starting at 99 cents.  Right now there are 39 auctions listed.
Well, I better get to bed.  More updates tomorrow.

Hi!  Happy Labor Day!  Hubby and I spent most of the weekend working on chores around the house.  We did go and see the movie The Invincible .  It was a great movie about a Philly Eagle's football player in the late 70s.
I also cleaned and organized my studio and office.  I have a huge pile of beads that I am going to list on eBay this week and next.  All of these will start at 99 cents.  So far I have listed 34--3 day auctions
Still adding daily specials...so please check them out.
Well, I better continue making progress on my list of things to do.
  More later!

Wk of 8/27--Pyro's Painting
Friday, September 1, 2006
Hi!  Today is the first day of September...did you say rabbit-rabbit first thing this morning?  We did...so this month should be a fantastic one, right?  I even had a note over the alarm clock to remind us to say it. lol.
I started the day with taking Pyro to the doctors.  She is on antibiotics and steroids now and we are waiting for the results from her tests this morning.  Right now she is napping in front of my office door (she is not allowed in here).  Guess she needs some lovings today.
I made lots of twisties in between thunderstorms this morning and afternoon.  I really wanted to create more masks...maybe tomorrow.  Hubby just came home...so I better run.
Have a spectacular weekend.
More later!
Cheers~

Hi again! I came back and updated today's daily special.  I was on a great beadmaking jag and then more lightening and thunder entered the area...so I am now at a standstill.  I have a few beads to wirewrap and then pack up three orders for shipping.   It is pretty silent right now...so I think I will try to squeeze in a few more beads before dinner.
Pyro is a little under the weather today.  No chasing around the table or gameplaying for her. So sad.
Cheers~

Hi!  Last day of the month is today and I for one is happy to welcome in a new month.  I still can not believe the summer is over and Labor Day is here.  Wow!   Four months until the holidays!
Just flying by...I will be back with today's special and to write some more.
More later!

Hi!  How are you doing today?  We are supposed to have rain and wind all day so I do not know if I will be on the computer later on.  I am listing Wednesday's special now too.
It is official...Pyro is too big for her crate.  Another growth spurt last week and she now hits the top of the crate.  We have to go crate shopping and find somewhere in our house to put it.  We were hoping to end the crate and have a nice bed for her...but Pyro's actions last week made that a fleeting thought.  hmmmmm.....puppies!
I had a custom painting created for hubby for his birthday of Pyro. The artist, Jim Tripp, did an awesome job! Pyro at 7 months old:

Hi!  I thought for sure I was torching today but when I awoke hubby was still here.  His plans were canceled due to rain.  I spent most of the day with hubby and puppy.  We went to a dog park.  I really do not know if I enjoyed the Happy Tails Dog Park so much however Pyro loved it.  We played Pyro's favorite game tonight...chasing her around and around and around the coffee table in the family room.
We replaced my bookshelf stereo in the studio with the new one.  The speaker wires were so short we had to have them right next to the main component.  One project is complete.  Tons more to go.
Well, I better continue making progress on my list of things to do.
  More later!
Cheers~
